The most important consideration when choosing the right size antler chew for your dog is its proportion to your dog’s size.

The length of the antler chew should allow your dog to hold it with his front paws and chew on one end. 

Never choose a small antler just to try it out as it may become a choking hazard. 

The next most important consideration is chewing strength and style. The more aggressive the chewer, the tougher the chew you should choose. 

While all antler chews are tough, Reindeer Antlers are the toughest, followed by Deer Antlers, then followed by Elk Antlers.  

Similarly, spilt antlers of any type are slightly less tough than whole versions of the same antlers,
